Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

GT Elite Performance is a cash-based PT and wellness practice. As such, we are not limited or governed by the restrictions set by insurance companies. This means you get the interventions and one-on-one attention you need!

Why Self-Pay for Cash-Based PT?

The higher deductibles, increasing costs, and decreasing benefits of most insurance plans means that those seeking physical therapy are receiving less quality of care with high out-of-pocket costs. By working for you and not for the insurance company we are able to provide increased quality of care and one-on-one treatment with a Doctor of Physical Therapy - all at an affordable price.

What is "Concierge" Physical Therapy?

Whether you opt for in-office or in-home sessions it is our goal to provide concierge level care. What this means to us is going above and beyond for our clients to truly support and guide them toward their recovery or fitness goals. Between sessions you will have access to your physical therapist by phone, email, or text to make sure you stay on the right track.

Do I need a prescription from my Physician?

Thank you to innovative legislation in the state of Florida, a physicians referral is not necessary for the first 30 days of Physical Therapy. If at the end of 30 days you no longer require Physical Therapy services, you can continue under one of our performance programs.
